Bottle. 7.0%. Best before 31.05.13. Pours a hazy deep amber with a dense khaki head. Good lacing. Weak aroma; yeast, malt and a touch of hops. Cereal, burnt rubber and alcohol notes as it warms. Spicy, malty and slightly tart flavour. A bit cloying. A citrus hop note tries to join in as it warms, but just lingers in the vicinity. Malty, spicy and rather alcoholic finish. Overall okay, if nothing special, but the alcohol in the finish was somewhat off-putting. 17.11.12.

In style and taste very abbey like, but complexicity, balance, and power is not at level. Decent beer for the low cost, but not a beer you would dream of..

UPDATED: APR 8, 2014 0.5 bottle. Clear, red-colored with a brownish tinge and a big white head. Aroma is very typical for Belgian ales, yeasty, mostly dough-like accompanied by citrus and fruits and some spicy scents and an unfortunate addition of alcohol. Taste is fine, relatively strong and definite, principally spicy with bittersweet additions. Body is medium and texture somewhere between creamy and oily, carbonation is definitely lively and simply does not fit. Finish is definitely resemblant of a typical Belgian ale, however somewhat unbalanced. First it comes smoothly with nice sweetness later however something goes wrong and a lot of sour tones and principally alcohol is released, spoils the sensation for me. All in all it is a nice beer just slightly unbalanced and with more alcohol than it can handle.

0.5 L bottle picked up @Superbrugsen, Samsø. A crystal clear reddish-brown beer, with low grey-shaded blond top. Sugary, toasted malt aroma. Faint caramel, some vague dark fruits tones, and hint of quite unfresh earthy hops. Brown suger-sweet, caramel accented malt flavor. Light peppery, light sourish. Stale bittering hops in the backbone. Light to medium full. Greasy in the mouth. Sweet sugary malt finish. Too sweet, and not very well kept, this one.

Bottle: Thanx to Mr.Rask! Hazy red colour, with a nice creamy head. Aroma is dominated of the typical belgians yeastu fruity aroma. Not sure but the fruity hopynes reminds me of a Sazer hopynes(?) freschy fruitynes, and a nice citrus! Flavor had a nice streght belgian yeastynes and hopynes is a weel balanced , this is a werry nice belgian Ale made in Denmark. Medium body, nice medium fruity finish. Nice complex fruity finish. Well Done!
