COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Fine beer. Sweet and slightly alcoholic. Has some spicy notes and a slight bitterness. Could be useful in cooking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50 CL bottle / 7,0% vol. Beautiful clear, amber brown beer with a slightly brownish white, and long lasting, head. Aroma of yeast (a little too much) and caramel. Taste of yeast, alcohol, raisins, corn and iron. Overall a decent Belgian ale but with minor flaws

Klar mørk kobberfarvet. Lille kompakt skum.

500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. BB date 08.06.13. ABV is 7.0%. Artificial colouring (E150c) has been added. Brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Boring aroma of malts and grain, some notes of stale jam in the background. Thin mouthfeel for a 7% beer. The flavour has notes of brown kandij sugar and caramel, but the beer is not very sweet. Mild spicy notes and a little hops in the finish. Tastes better than it smells, but this is not a great "Belgian".

Bottle, 50cl. Pours dark amber, copper red-brownly color with creamy two finger beige-head. Aroma is strong and dominated by dried fruits, raisin, caramel sugar and yeast. Flavor of caramel, sweet brown sugar, malt, toffee and ends little spice and hobby. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Drying and clear alcohol in the finish. Little too sweet for my taste.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2013 2/XI/13 - 50cl bottle @ Greet’s place - BB: 8/VII/14 (2013-1034) Thanks to Johan L. for sharing the bottle!

Clear red brown beer, small irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: caramel, toast, bit nutty, sugary, brown sugar, malty, some alcohol. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, bit sugary, bitter, blunt, little hoppy. Aftertaste: hops, bit metallic, some citrus, watery and very plain. Don’t like it.

Clear, dark copper body with a large, light-brown head that laces the glass well. Sweet and quite strong aroma with dark dried fruits, and Belgian yeast. Moderate sweet and moderate to light bitter taste. Flavours of fruits and berries, Belgian yeast, a bit too much alcohol and some spices in the back. Medium body, oily texture and soft to moderate carbonation.

50cl bottle. Caramel malts, dried fruits, dark sugars. Clear amber brown with a small white head lasting for ten seconds. Dried fruits, plum raisins, caramelized sugar, a balancing bitterness. Crisp and dry the style considered. A really good Belgian ale if you take the prize in consideration.
