Weak aroma; yeast, malt and a touch of hops. Cereal, burnt rubber and alcohol notes as it warms. Spicy, malty and slightly tart flavour. A bit cloying. A citrus hop note tries to join in as it warms, but just lingers in the vicinity. Malty, spicy and rather alcoholic finish. Overall okay, if nothing special, but the alcohol in the finish was somewhat off-putting. 17.11.12.

500 ml bottle. Thanks Timo A. Pours a copper colour with a small head. Aroma of pineapple, rhubarb, caramel, soap and some cream. Flavour of caramel malts, cardboard, citrus, grass, English toffee and yeast. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a foamy, dry, yeasty finish. Alcohol is rather well hidden. Not my kind of a beer but still interesting.

Aroma feels fresh with soapy citrus, some floral notes and hints of burned sugar. Flavour has brown sugar, soapy citrus and toffee typical to English ales(!). Actually this feels a lot like an English Pale Ale. Hides the 7% rather well.

Pours clear dark orange color with a minimal head. Aroma of some weird glue-like alcohol, juicy notes, caramel, soapy notes and some rose hip. Flavor of fruits, caramel, some yeast and malts. Odd and has some weird off-flavors.

Bottle.Dark brown with pale brown head. Aroma weak hints of sweetness, belgian yeast, not much belgian actually. Taste too boozy and quite dry with very little sweetness. Boring and not much of a belgian ale. It´s easy to find much better beers in the cheap end.

Bottle from Super Brugsen, Hammel - Amber pour with small off white head. Sweet hoppy notes in both aroma and taste, in fact bit too sweet sweet for my palate, syrupy brown sugar sweetness, some caramel malt, slight pine, woodyness. Not bad over all though.

Bottle 50cl. Medium white loudy head. Amber color. Aroma is pine resin, toffee and sweet orange alcohol candy. Flavour is wood, sugar, cloves and bread.

Bottle (again). Pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head. Malty aroma. Taste of malts, caramel, nuts and fruits. Starts out sweet but has a slightly bitter aftertaste. Nothing too special - and not the best example of a Belgian ale, but better than many other similar beers. I like it and usually buy it when it’s on sale, which makes it good value for money.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear malty aroma with distinct flowery and fruity notes. Sweetish, malty and fruity onset, interrupted by a strong bubbly attack, ending on a bitter, hoppy note. OK but nothing particularly remarkable.
