Bottle from Germany bierpost.com - pours a golden orange colour with a small white head. Aroma a mix of sour fruit, grass and yeast. Light sweetness and medium sourness. Light body, oily texture. Bitter sourness to finish.

Copenhagen 16/2 2015. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly. Pours clear pale yellow with gradually subsiding white head. Aroma is sour - citrus and grape fruit tinged with metallic notes of alcohol. Medium carbonation. Taste is dominated by the aforementioned sourness. Citrus in the aftertaste. I suppose it's from the wheat malt. A very sour experience.

OK øl fra Willemoes Bryggeri. Flot farve og lyst skum, meget appetitlig, men der mangler noget.

Bottle at home Poured a clear yellow/amber with a slight white head. Nose is full of sourness, yeast and slight malt notes. Tasted sweet and clean like a breakfast juice, slightly bitter and slightly sour.

With an alcohol percentage of 6%, this beer is strong - in Scandinavia… But compared to ales (especially from Belgium) of the same percentage, this beer misses a full body and the complex taste. The first impression is a sweet taste, followed by… not much. As said before, I miss the body such a beer should have. Besides the overpronounced malt sweetness, you can hardly detect other flavors, especially the hop stays too much in the back. And there is a unpleasant metal taste in the back which shouldn’t be there at all! Due to a low carbonation, the beer has, on the other hand, a nice creamy consitency which I like. The second beer of this brewery that I tested. And again it’s disapointing. I had much higher expectations from a Danish craft brew. But no, this is not the standard I was looking for, especially as the Danish beer scene is in full development. Unfortunately I have more beers of Willemoes in my stock...

Pretty failed attempt to create German Kristallweizen. Tastes more of some Helles with some malty notes and someone forgot to add hops.

Bottle. Clear yellow color, nearly no head, which is strange for a beer with wheat. Smell is somewhat sour-fruity, but also a bit of basement and spices. Taste is sweet with a sour touch and a noticeable bitterness. Very flat carbonation with a more thick mouthfeel. Aftertaste is just a bit grain and malt, nothing special. Missing the characteristics of a real Kristallweizen, strange beer, not sure if I like or dislike it. The elderflowers give either a strange taste or are not present.
