Flaske 0,5 liter.

Nice dark ale with very strong notes of malt and especially caramel - taken the alcohol percent of more than 8% in to account it could have had a more rich taste though. Aroma dominated by caramel, corn, bread and nuts. Soft/medium carbonization

0.5 bottle. Very dark crimson color and a medium large, quite thick, off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel, spices, nuts, and dried fruits. Taste is also typically, malty-sweet with a lot of caramel, spices, and dried fruits as well as some licorice which introduces sour and salty notes; frankly speaking they are over-accentuated. Medium to full body, creamy texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is a tad bitterer and more licorice-saturated than the rest though the dried fruits do not vanish completely. Overall the beer is not bad but its unbalanced finish rather spoils the sensation.

Strong but sweet, just the way a "Paaske" brew is supposed to be. Lots of toffee and raising hints, good malts and hops are used here, and this beer will go perfect with Danish Smørrebrød. Has a rye touch to it

50 cl. bottle, shared. Clear, dark amber colour with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet aroma with rich malts, caramel, bread, nuts, dried fruits and light spices. Some alcohol. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with caramel malts, dried fruits and a light burn of alcohol. Only a vague bitterness. Not exactly a sophisticated product but far better than the Willemoes Påskebryg.

Fin bitterhed i eftersmagen.
