Endnu en påskeøl - men denne gang heldigvis med lidt smag og karakter. Een af de bedste påskeøl jeg har smagt :-)

Bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks! Klare rötlichbraune Farbe, ordentliche leicht beige Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, getreidig, leicht nussig, hopfig. Geschmack kräftig malzig, getreidig, leicht alkoholisch, reife Früchte.

Copenhagen 27/3 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta Quick. Pours clear reddish brown with off-white head. Dissipates completely rather quickly. Aroma is dense and sharp with alcohol with spicy sweetness and some sourness for balance. Light carbonation. Taste is bitter sour and spicy reminding me of cough syrup. Very boozy taste as well. I think I might have catched a cold. This might be the remedy.

0.5L bottle. Pours clear dark copper with an off-white to beige head, medium duration. Very little of lacing on the glass. The taste is malty with some caramel and dried fruits, alcohol, a bit metallic, but also distinctly hoppy. The taste is sweet with a moderate bitterness, just enough to balance the sweetness. The palate feels very carbonated at first despite the very low number of bubbles, then takes a distinct warming, alcoholic, and dry finish. Drinkable.

50 cl bottle. @ Timo A.
Pours clear orange color with a small head. Caramel malts and ripe fruits on the nose, faint hops, some hay and do distant berries. Sugary, ripe fruity flavor, malts, syrup, molasses, caramel and some toffee, interesting.

Flaske 0,5 liter. Mørk øl og stærk/krydret i smagen, dufter godt og ser flot ud i glasset, er lidt sprittet i eftersmag.

Nice dark ale with very strong notes of malt and especially caramel - taken the alcohol percent of more than 8% in to account it could have had a more rich taste though. Aroma dominated by caramel, corn, bread and nuts. Soft/medium carbonization

0.5 bottle. Very dark crimson color and a medium large, quite thick, off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel, spices, nuts, and dried fruits. Taste is also typically, malty-sweet with a lot of caramel, spices, and dried fruits as well as some licorice which introduces sour and salty notes; frankly speaking they are over-accentuated. Medium to full body, creamy texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is a tad bitterer and more licorice-saturated than the rest though the dried fruits do not vanish completely. Overall the beer is not bad but its unbalanced finish rather spoils the sensation.
