Bottle shared with Niller - pours black with a tan head. Aroma and taste is roasted slightly burned malty, caramel, chocolate, with a oily mouthfeel, decent sweet bitter/roasted balance, pretty good overall.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Black beer with huge dense brown head. Aroma roasted malts and some licorice. Tas.te roasted malts and then licorice. The more you drink the more prominent the licorice gets. Nice.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Svart öl med ett gräddigt beige skum. Doft av choklad, kaffe, säd och rostade toner. När ölen blir varmare så kommer även lakrits fram. Samma återkommer i smaken. Beskan känns något för bitter i början men blir angenämare med tiden.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Almost black with a fine brown head. Ok lacing. You can use almost every adjective you got to describe this aroma. Massive! Sweet, fruity, coffe, rich roasted....Flavour are also rich in the same gateway, toghether with a little bit to much alcohol. Quite decent evening sipper.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
50 CL bottle. Lovely dark and oily porter. Not the most refined porter I have ever tasted, but with a both fat, oily and comfortable tarred taste this beer surely does what it is supposed to. With it’s 9,8% it is quite a strong beer, but the equally strong taste justifies the strength

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 50cl. Deep black and hazy color porter, with a brown, stable, foamy and creamy head. Roasted, burned malty sweet notes, caramel and deep, concentrated chocolate and liquorice. Clear alcohol. Flavor is dense at first, sweet full bodied, syrup, roasted caramel and malts, dark fruits, coffee, quite boozy all-over. Complex and rich, but unbalanced. At least for my taste.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not a very refined Porter, but it packs a bunch that’s for sure. The alcohol content pretty much buries all distinct features, if there are any. A shame really, ’cause it seems like it could be interesting. I recommend drinking this from a big open glass, maybe even red wine glassware, and let it sit for a while befor drinking. Serve at 12-14 degrees celcius. What can I say, it looks and smells like a baltic, but to get the nuances one really have to be careful and choose the right glas and temperature. A meal in itself.

Bottle. Nice boozy aroma, with a bit of syrup to it. Sweet and very full bodied but a little too much for my taste.
