Bottle. Pours almost completely black with a nice looking medium sized mocca colored head. Aroma of roasted malt. Taste of roasted malt, chocolate and hints of coffee, licorice and smoke. Sweet taste with a long bitter aftertaste of roasted malt, caramel and chocolate. For some reason I’d told myself I preferred the Willemoes Stout over this one, but now that I’ve had a lot of those - and this one again - I have to say that I prefer this one. Pretty good porter.

Bottle 50 cl. Bought in danish store. Very dark porter. Aroma liquorice. Nice brownish head. Aftertaste of a little bitterness.. Taste of liquorice.

Flaska 50 cl. Mörk, mörk brun, nästan svart, öl med stort cappuccinofärgat skum. Doftar inte alls dumt av choklad, toffee, röda bär och lakrits. Tyvärr är alkoholen väldigt, väldigt framträdande i smaken. Det är mycket spritigt. Smakerna som finns där (lakrits och choklad främst) tillåts inte komma fram riktigt.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark brown with stable light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and roasted beans. Roasted, malty flavour with clear caramel notes. Good balance between bitterness and sweetness. An OK porter, but I have tasted many better ones.

Bottle, 50 cl, Clear reddish brown with a small, beige head. Aroma is roasted malt with notes of sweet caramel. Flavor is sweet, slightly burned, caramel malty. Flavor follows the nose, with a sugary, sticky mouthfeel, oily texture. As the temperature rises, notes of preserved plums are felt. Well hidden alcohol. Sweet burned malty finish.

Bottle, Brugsen Hammel. Dark brown with light brown head. Aroma with coffee and chocolate. Taste is coffee, licorice and chocolate. Finish is a little bitter. Palate is very full and creamy.

Pours clear dark brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, licorice and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate, licorice and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

No head, dark brown light ruby red and a bit hazy in colour. Noses of caramel and some red wine. Aroma is caramel with red wine notes and chocolate/coffee traces. Rather chewy! Pretty sweet, light bitter. Fully body with a oily light fizzy texture. Finish is long and persistent. Pretty good porter.
