COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With the Blonde Bomber American Blonde Ale, Eric created a beer thatís beautiful to look at in a clear glass. Its blonde coloration (SRM 3-5) and satisfying mouth feel are backed by a light hop aroma and a medium dry to somewhat sweet taste depending on the food accompaniment. Like The Veteran, The Blonde Bomber is an easy-to-drink session beer with 5.0% alcohol by volume, a true craft beer created for drinkers that love a beer with a gentle flavor profile and a pleasing texture. Its small, primrose-colored bubbles communicate the true nature of the beer both in the glass and on the palate.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, dark yellow with minimal head. Aroma is slightly twangy with a little citrus. Loads of grains and a bit of malt. Taste is light bitter and follows aroma. A little more citrus here. Light bodied with a slightly creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. Nothing too crazy or extreme, but drinkable.

Pale, smooth, and a good summer beer. Just as expected , light and grassy. A sweet finish.

A very drinkable beer with no bad qualities but nothing that makes it stands out either. That being said it is an above average brew. I wonít mind paying a reasonable premium for this veteran owned brewery who employs vets. A disclaimer: Iím a vet too.

Bottle. Slightly murky light golden pour with a white head. Mild aroma and taste of cracker and wheat. A little hop bite later in the taste, but overall pretty dull.

[Bottle] Straw colored pour with a fizzy white head. Not much lacing. Nose is of cereal grains and light floral notes. Taste is of cracker, light bread, some honey, light green apple notes and residual sugars. Light oxidation seems to be present. Better than their other beer.

This pours a slightly hazy, yellow color with a foamy white head. The aroma is mild with the summer aroma of wheat and citrus. The taste is smooth and easy drinking. Simple grain, wheat, and citrus flavors quench the palette. Nothing special by any stretch of the imagination but it is smooth and easy to drink for a beginning beer drinker. Leaves a slight lingering dry, grain after taste

Bought as a single: Pours a clean golden hue with a fading head and some lacework. The aroma is juicier than expected with melons, grapefruit and some pear esters along with biscuity and bready malts. There is a touch of soapy notes that does distract some. The taste is a mild fruit and acidic nature with little actual bitterness. Very bland on the palate with a short finish. Really needs more bitterness IMO. Additionally just like the lager, needs a bit more snap on the mouth feel. Lively enough but not refreshing enough. Overall it is what I would expected, a very 1980ís styled Pale Ale and not what the current market offers. Yep, it is nothing more than a gimmick which makes this veteran sad.

An easy sessional beer that fools you with its color and aroma. Is pretty smooth but has a slight hops taste on the back end.

Bottle @ home, shared with LeninCat. Thanks to Adam for sending. Cloudy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Some tropical fruit / mango / citrus in the aroma though itís not too aromatic. A touch twangy. Doughy malty flavor. Dull bitterness. Moderate sweetness. A touch of pine. Forgettable. LeninCat did rake this at damn near a 5 but I think heís just so freaking thirsty.

Hazy golden color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of malt, grain, & some floral hops; Flavor of malt, yeast, hops/grain, and some citrus; Crisp finish; Not too bad.
