2011-10-04, draught at the brewpub, 6-4-7-3-14=34
Cloudy pale blond color, with generous creamy head. The aroma is initially nice, with hops and malt (7), but later it gets simpler (6). The malt flavor is delicate and very nice, with notes of cereals, bread, hay; moderate bitterness, that let’s pass through a minimal residual sweetness. Enjoyable.

2010-09-07, draught at the brewpub, 7-4-7-3-15=36
Hazy blond color. The aroma is mild, with a pleasant mix of malt, hop and citrusy fruits. The mouthfeel is lean and dry; there is a good crispy malt flavor, said dry, with traces of cereals and a good hopping, showing some noble qualities and a mildly grassy character. Good bitterness level. Very good.

2006-06-24, draught at Plan B, Copenhagen, 6-3-7-4-13=33
Hazy light blond color. The aroma is soft and delicate, with some vanilla, flowers, hop. Light body, dry mouthfeel, with some malt and a reasonable bitterness. Quite long final. A fresh and crispy Pilsner.

Lecker! Test vom 4.10.2010, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 11,10,12,11,-,11 - 11,00

Tap at Plan B. Hazy yellow, rich head. Bready and slightly spicy with good complexity. A nice Helles.

Draught. Low and quickly disappearing white head. Slightly hazy light yellow green body. Grassy hay lemon barley malt aroma. Flavor of barley malt, hay, grass, relatively mild and yet tasty without much hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long aftertaste.

The head is ok, the body golden and cloudy. It smells malty, a bit barley and sweet. The taste is barley, sweet, yeasty. In the aftertaste more yeasty. Ok! 12/11/11/12/-/11

Big white shiny head. Hazy pale yellow body. Sweetish herbal peppery aroma. Dry-sweet peppery yeasty taste with chalky herbal notes. Dry grassy aftertaste with fruity notes. Slighty pepery notes, too. Chalky mouthfeel. Nice! (0.3l draft at brewpub.)

[on tap at brewpub] Nice floral aroma with good malt sweetness. Hazy gold with white foam cover. Fresh but sour-ish malt up front along with a "hollow" flavour leading into some floral hops and finally a hops bitter bite. Very quaffable. Medium to light body, moderate carbonation, clean finish.

Served at Vetters. My first German Helles in Germany but not the best (as I learned). Cloudy, yellow. Full flavor. Overall decent and a good session beer. I’m pretty sure that I had this in a Maβ but not 100%. Come to think of it, there were a lot of blurry moments in Germany.

toasted malts. Not enough hops. Boring. Very simple and refreshing, but not up to its piers in Germany.
