50cl from tap at the Brauhaus. It has a pale amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, grassy and lightly hoppy. Average to low carbonation and medium body. Taste is lightly sweet and medium bitter with a long and dry finish. Overall, is a good beer but a little watery and more sweet than I would like to be.

Enjoyed on tap at Vetters in Heidelberg, DE at the end of a long work trip. This was one of the best of the style that I’ve had, fantastic stuff. Appearance is a full bodied gold with a modest white head. Aroma of sweetness, bit of spice and caramel malt. Taste was pretty sweet but also very flavorful, it’s a definite easy drinker and very enjoyable. Great place.

2011-02-16, draught at the brauhaus, 6.5% ABV, 6-5-6-3-13=33
Hazy amber color; creamy head. Mild aroma, of caramel and apples. The mouthfeel is soft, with some malt and caramel flavor, while the bitterness is low. It seems a bit more mature than one month ago, rounder, but still simple. Unoffensive.

2010-11-14, draught at the brauhaus, 5.5% ABV (?), 7-5-7-3-14=36
Hazy amber color; compact head. Mild aroma of caramel and butter. The body is rounder than a regular beer, even if the beer is not very strong; there is a good caramel flavor, some residual sweetness, light mellow biscuity touch, light butter. The final has a moderate bitterness, with traces of nuts. Quite pleasant.

1L growler, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is light spiced and grassy hoppy. Mild fruity and hoppy. Vague spiced and caramelish. Crisp bitter and malty. Light sweetness.

(draught) hazy ruby-amber colour with a creamy tan head. aroma of dark fruits, mostly strawberries, caramel and bubblegum. flavour is quite the same, with a touch of toasted malts, quite sweet, but in a pleasant way. relatively light-bodied with smooth carbonation. a very tasty, drinkable bock!
