COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Viborg Bocken er brygget efter samme ide som Påske Bocken, blot lidt mindre sød og med lavere alkohol indhold. Den er brygget over åben ild, hvilket giver den en udpræget maltsmag der med den velbalancerede humling gør Viborg Bocken til en øl, der kan nydes i alle sammenhænge, blød mild og rund. Viborg Bocken er særdeles velegnet til det store kolde frokost bord. Undergæret og lagret i 6 uger. Alkohol styrke ca. 5,5 Vol %

Darker yellow with small off-white foam ring. After opening beer exploded out, 2nd time with Viborg beer. Aroma and taste are quite nice, good beer. (Velp 201311)

Bottled (backlog bought from somewhere on Jylland). Deep golden/pale amber colour with a rich foamy head. Aroma is sweet malts, some bready notes with mild toast as well as some slight sugary notes. Flavour is caramel malts, some slight yeastiness, mild toasted notes as well as some ripe fruits.

Pours clear deep golden with a huge white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast and caramel. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Pours a clear copper. Of white head falls to skim. Smells of rich malt, caramel and some hop sharpness. Taste follows nose with dry finish. A bit oily and slick, medium body. Bright carbonation.

Medium beige head. Clear bright amber body. Fruity earthy wild berry aroma with grape notes. Sweetish earthy grape taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. A bit bland. Bottled. Amber coloured Uncleare. Dense light beige head. ARoma and flavour of fruits, light sweetness, some caramel and spice. Medium bodied. Has a sweet and fruity end. Suprisingly alcohol notes is there.
