Dark amber colour with an off-white head. Very malty. Aroma is sweet and caramelish. Flavor is sweet malty, caramel, grain, a nice touch of something resembling light smoke. Quite dry finish, light bitter. Medium body

ok beer but too much carbon dioxide, and it’s just a silly thing that we wanted a beer to steak. 4.6% beer instead of a red wine at 13-14% No way!.

(Bottle 19/02-2011) It’s a fine 4,6% beer, but in no way a replacement for a red wine.

larsga (6120) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 16, 2011
Biggish beige head. Clear deep red body with strong carbonation. Roasty earthy sugary aroma with herbal dusty notes. Dry-sweetish earthy herbal taste with licorice and roasty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry roasty dusty aftertaste with licorice and butterscotch notes. Nice. Unusual. (0.5l bottle, Salling, Århus.)

0.5L bottle from Vinspecialisten, Aalborg. Mediumsized, mostly diminishing beige head. Body is red to light ruby with a brownish hue. Predominant fruit aroma of the strange kind. Pruns maybe, raisins too, and some jammy plums. Notes of nutty dark malts. Taste is fairly malty sweet with notes of a berry-ish fruitiness. Faint caramel an toasted bread. Light-bodied. Dryness and a certain astringency in the end. A weirdo. Drinkable, but still a weirdo.

yngwie (13106) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 13, 2010
Bottle. A clear, brown beer with a rocky beige head. Malty nose with a strange raisiny and a bit unpleasant note. Dms in the back. A bit unclean in the flavor too, higher alcohols and dms blending with roasted malts and dried fruits. Lots of dms in the finish. Full-bodied. Quite dry in the finish. Overall, definately not a beer I could drink a lot of. Somehow it reminds me of when opening a packet of red meat that has been laying for a while. 100513

Bottled. Deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel malts, plum, some alcohol and smoke. Flavour is quite much the same. Brutal.
