Bottle sampled at Papsø’s on 8/30/09: Pours a transparent copper amber with a thin, spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet toasty caramel with a hint of light fruits. Starts with decent fullness and a light caramely sweetness with some grainy character and light fruity flavor with a touch of mild tartness before a thinner, semi-sweet finish. Pretty true to style.

It’s copper with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and flower/fruit. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of malt, caramel, flower/fruit and the finish is slightly dry and citrussy. It’s soft, pleasant and easy to drink.

Bottle. A clear, copper-colored beer with an off-white head. Malty, caramel-ish nose with a decent hop aroma and something strange, almost chemical. Dry, papery malty flavor with some hops, and a finish lacking a bit on bitterness. Overall it’s too papery for my likings, and except for the fact that money goes to charity when you buy it, it’s rather uninteresting. 090822

Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090822]

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle.
Pours a very nice, deep red-copper with a small, off-white film head. Aroma is sweet, some maltiness, light rye, some berries, caramel. Prickl, but fine carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, malty, light hoppy, some citric notes, fresh apple and rye. Quite drinkable.
