Medium beige head. Clear deep brown body with light carbonation. Roasty malty toffee aroma with floral fruity dusty caramel notes. Dry-sweet roasty grainy caramel malt taste with dusty metallic notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dry grassy roasty pine needle aftertaste with metallic dusty notes. Syrup and rye crisp bread notes, too. Nice. Could use a little more hops, but nice, with a vivid and clear taste. (0.5 bottle, Salling, Århus.)

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle.
Pours a very nice, deep red-copper with a small, off-white film head. Aroma is sweet, some maltiness, light rye, some berries, caramel. Prickl, but fine carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, malty, light hoppy, some citric notes, fresh apple and rye. Quite drinkable.

Bottle sampled at Papsø’s on 8/30/09: Pours a transparent copper amber with a thin, spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet toasty caramel with a hint of light fruits. Starts with decent fullness and a light caramely sweetness with some grainy character and light fruity flavor with a touch of mild tartness before a thinner, semi-sweet finish. Pretty true to style.

Gelungen! 8/11/12/11/10/11

Red amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, somewhat grainy, with a fruity note (I’d call it the micro-brewed lager fruityness). Sweet rich malt flavour with hops and husky tannin apparently playing together in a drying finish. Excellent drinkable beer for food, and brewed for a good cause too.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter straw finish.

It’s copper with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and flower/fruit. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of malt, caramel, flower/fruit and the finish is slightly dry and citrussy. It’s soft, pleasant and easy to drink.
