It’s brewed over open fire, which gives it’s pronounced malt flavour, that together with a well balanced hopping makes Viborg Jule Bocken a beer, that can be enjoyed at all times, smooth and mild. The ABV and a strong carbonation makes it ideal for fat fish and

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 20, 2008
Dark amber colored with little yellow head. Spinach dominates this aroma with berries and sourness. Medium bodied. Flavor starts with sweet berries and caramel, aftertaste turns to drier with with slight lingonberries still. Somehow safty palate. Alcohol is covered finely, only thin tone in aftertaste. Not too bockish one.

500 ml bottle. Slightly hazy reddish body with a small, disappearing off-white head. Vague aroma, a bit sour. Flavor is malty and sour, probably coursed by diacetyl. Some hops in the finish. Could be so much better.
