COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

0.5 bottle. Hazy, dark, crimson color with a brown hue to it, head is rather small but thick and creamy. Aroma of spices, fruits - mostly apples, and some malts; overall it is sour with a sweet note. Taste is also really sour with even less sweetness to counterpoise that despite the noticeable presence of sugars, unbalanced. Medium body, somewhat creamy texture, and average carbonation. Finish is more poised than the rest but still far from perfect. All in all the omnipresent sourness rather spoils the beer which was supposed to be a Christmas brew, one could expect a sugary or even tacky, spice-filled beer instead of a sour drink.

Bottle. A more or less clear one, dark amber in color and with a dense, finger-thick off-white head on top. Green apples and almond essence in the aroma. Some maltyness too. The flavor is pretty much equally uninteresting, borderline bad, with lots of green apples, as well as almond essence, cooked vegetables and some dried fruiits. Medium body, decent carbonation. Lightly roasted finish with green apples and some bitterness. Definitely not a winner. 130119
