DraftDodger (999) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2016
Copenhagen 20/2 2016. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen (kept close to the biodynamic vegetables). Streetsign with the name of the beer ("Peerless") on the label. Pours clear amber with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Aroma of sweet malts with a bitter touch from the hops. More sour than sweet. Soft carbonation and watery palate. Flavour is subdued malty sweetness followed by more pronounced bitterness. Bitterness is lingering in the aftertaste. "Peerless" is taking it a bit far. But it reminds me of a standard Czech pilsner. Refreshing with nice bitterness but it does not get you overexcited.

Bottle, pours golden with little head. Aroma is malty with bread and some sweetness, there is a strange note to the aroma. Malty aroma, with bread and suger. Some noble hops are present, the strange note from the aroma is also in the taste.
