(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Clear, dark brown with a warm tint of red and a small, light brown head. Fat aroma of burned malt. Medium body and fairly sweet, burned malt - some vanilla also. Slightly vinous with light notes of licorice. Subdued bitterness in the finish. A nice one. 280907

Bottle. [Courtesy of Myrup, quality tasting @ Papsoe] Spare fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Black color. Notes of chocolate, coffee, caramel, grain, roasted malt. Quit bitter coffee like over the palate. Full bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated bitter and sweet flavor. Bitter roasted malty finish. 28-09-2007

Ungstrup (29081) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2007
Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt, and a slight acididy - I guess from the roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, which also lends it a slight acidity, but it also has a slight vegetable note.

Bottle. A black beer with a big brown head. The aroma is of roasted malt, coffee and licorice, so is the taste, very roasted almost dusty. Medium body with a dry finish.

thewolf (11113) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 17, 2007
Bottle from the brewery, shared with Skortila and Caesar in Nijmegen. Pours almost black with a medium creamy beige head. Aroma is roasted, coffe and a little yeast. Prickles lightly in my nose. Medium carbonation, making the beer seem fresh and alive. Flavour is great - chocolate, liqourice, some berries. Long lasting aftertaste. Finally Viborg shows that they are genuinely capable!

Aroma has coffee, licorice, roasted malts and some dried fruits. Nice. Black coloured with a thin, beige head. Taste has coffeebitterness and is somewhat bitter. Nice balance. This stout seems fresh to me. Thnx for the share thewolf.

Bottled, thnx to thewolf. Dark color, short brown lacing. Aroma of licorice, rye, roasted malt, coffee. Nice bitter coffee taste, lots of licorice, only slightly sweet. Bit sticky, bitter. Quite nice indeed!
