faroeviking (4396), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Feb 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours a deep hazy amber colour with a huge long lasting staedy creamy beige head. Aroma of bitter hops, toasty malt and some fruits. Good mouthfeel. Soft bit sweet flavour with bitter hops, ripe fruits, some caramel, toasted malt and pine. Ungstrup (11354), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 18, 2007 Draft. A hazy amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet malty and spicy combined with lighter notes of fruit and caramel. The flavor is sweet and fruity - espcecially peaches coming thru, leading to an end where a floral hoppy note comes along and leaves with an OK bitterness. The alcohol leaves a slight bite on the tongue. An OK beer - but I find it a bit too simple. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 19, 2007 Draught.
Hazy orange colorued with a small off white head.
Aroma of caramel, fruits and hops.
Flavour of fruits, caramel and hops.
Hoppy finish. Papsoe (10285), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 17, 2007 (On tap) Slightly hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Somewhat fat nutty aroma. Quite surprisingly - considering its strength - the body is a bit watery with typical notes of caramel and nuts. The beer has an underlying sweetness yet manages to finish dry and bitter. 110507 madsberg (4373), Bangalore, India May 24, 2007 Drautht. Amber coloured. Unclear. Small beige head. Fruity aroma with distinct notes of cocoa. Flavour of plums and cocoa. Quite sweet with some light herbal notes. Meidum bodied. Is light bitter in the end. Quite refreshing.
