Bottle@Chez Moeder Lambic. Quite yeasty, with lots of alcohol noticed. I think the Belgian ale is more dominant in this than the Girardin lambic is, subtle sourness, and quite dry on the finish. Yeasty and lemony notes. Interesting, but didn’t quite work for me.

At Moeder Lambic, Bruxelles
Hazy golden color; big creamy head. Delicate aroma, dust, cellar, malt, vinegar. Smooth mouthfeel, with a high carbonation; soma malt flavor, lightly sour and also quite astringent, increasingly in the final; correct bitterness. Very well brewed. Very interesting.

Bottle Blond, clear body. Rocky, slightly off-white head. Quite good wedding between lambic and triple in the aroma: wood, hops, flowers, horseblanket, ... Some soury lambic bitterness combined with sweet triple bitterness. Quite dry mouthfeel. Quite ok actually, better then I had this the first time. The balance is not perfect, but the lambic is quite well combined with the triple.

TBone (9999) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 9, 2007
Bottled "tripel - gueuze" (BB 02/2010)
This is interesting one: triple mixed with Girardin lambik. Honey golden color, big cloudy head, some lace. Sour lambic nose: barnyard, black currant and hay. Very carbonated - foamy - mouthfeel. Typical fruity sour lambic flavor diluted with tripel-like yeastyness. Grapefruit is dominating with earthy notes. Sweetish lemony aftertaste. Interesting and good one.

Bottle at home. A nice tripel this is. Citrusy colour and luscious head. Very sour, sweet taste. Flavours of orange, grapes, coriander. Smooth mouthfeel. Sparky finish. A real delight, even if a tad too sour for me.

Bottle at Zythos festival, won the price for best festival beer of 2007. The year before the award was for Vicaris tripple, same persons. An unique combo between Tripple and lambic. Very nice

Bottled. Hazy golden coloured, big lasting head. Spices and yeast in aroma, with some sourness shining through. Sweet flavour, some spices, more dry and sour towards the end. Some lambic sourness is present, but it doesn’t dominate the flavour. Tastes a bit odd. Not knowing this is a blend, one could interpret this as an infected tripel. But seriously, a bit odd, but nice to try once.

Bottle - Golden clear body with a creamy white head; Quite strange nose, actually like a tripel gone bad, simple malty with tons of citrus on top; Full body with to much full carbonation, harsh lemony sour; Long sour finish, again sour harsh like bad tripel. What a very bad idea.

From bottle @1ste Waregemse Bierhappening. Clear golden colour, small white foam. Sweet and fruity nose. Initially sweet, but developing towards a very dry, more geuze-like woody finish. Warming alcohol, fizzy. Full body. Exciting blend.

Cloudy amber/orange with a large, solid head and lots of sticky lacing. Very lively in the glass. Floral, wheaty and bready aroma, with some sweet malty tripel notes (honey, yeast, grassy, slightly hoppy). The taste was citric & sour up front, and finished yeasty and dry. The lambic and tripel melt quite well, with a surprisingly good balance. However, they feel like tripel-light and lambic-light; both types are reduced to inoffensive but well-balanced elements here - the taste is neither a spectacular lambic, nor a spectacular tripel, but sits comfortably and inoffensively in the middle. The mouthfeel was lively and well-carbonated, which made this brew even more refreshing. I’m not sure if I’d rather have a bottle of this than a bottle of Girardin’s Black Label followed by a good tripel, but this is certainly an interesting blend. It is inoffensive, but well-rounded & refreshing. Nice.
