Mix of Vicaris Tripel and Boon lambic.

Oddball beer. The yellow gold liquid is rather hazy. No idea if that’s bottle handling or not. Head is fairly thick white foam. Clumps stick to the glass nicely. Good retention. The aroma is confusing but nice. The gueuze makes the tripel flavors seem sorta flabby, but there’s a nice funk base to the beer. Earthy lambic notes on top of simple sugary malt. Oddly perfumey. Like corn syrup on mushrooms or something. Fairly strong oak note in both aroma and taste. Taste is even more off. It starts sharply oaky and a bit tart, but the there’s a sweet base to everything. The finish has a bit of bubblegum. Some spiciness. Big green apple flavor. Lemon, honey, grape. I can’t quite like this beer. Feel is a bit sticky. Fine carbonation, sorta prickly.

Bit hazy golden yellow colour. Thin, white head. Aroma of gooseberries, hints of honey, some sourness in the aroma. Sourness and hints of gooseberries at first. Hints of berries and some sweetness in the middle. Sour finish. Hints of wine in aftertaste. Quite well balanced, but somehow boring beer. Drinkable thow.

Drucken på Linköpings Beer Expo. En syrlig och trevligt kryddig gueuze, lite annorlunda men mycket bra.

Decent white head and a bit of a foggy orange body. Nice aroma of funky nailpolish, hay, lemon. Flavour is watery leather, chewy rotting bread, dried grass. Medium finish. Reliable gueuze but trending towards middling.

33cl bottle at Õlleteek, Tallinn. Slightly hazy golden with a nice and dense, white head. Fruity, funky and slightly yeasty with notes of sour berries, barnyard and hints of honey and malt. Balanced and complex, a perfect marriage between tripel and gueuze. Delicious, refreshing and very enjoyable.
