4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste tart, sweet, fruity. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 7.0%. Good citric aroma, hint of earth, half acidic, half acetic, I guess. Clear dark golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is nicely acetic, but not very acidic, unfortunately. I guess the tripel part of the beer plays a role in that. It has some geuze notes, but they are not so powerful as to scare off newbies. I would have preferred a little more lambic and a little less tripel, but good nevertheless.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours clear amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, fruit and flowers, with notes of hops. Vinous flavour with notes of yeast and flowers and some faint bready and malty touches. Vinous and rough aftertaste. Alcohol more discernible than the ABV stated on the label. Smells of Triple and tastes of Gueuze, and this marriage is rather sucessful, if not excessively happy. Decent

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Barrels & Bottles. Pale golden-orange and pretty clear appearance with a white head and light lacing. Aroma of Belgian yeast, clove, fruity esters, light banana, and some funky, light sour notes. Similar flavor, mildly tart and mildly sweet. Medium body. Getting more tripel than lambic. Still fairly interesting.

33cl, best before 22/04/2016. The beer starts smooth and sourish. Fresh, smooth. Nice horse blanket with a malty smooth body. The aftertaste is smooth-sourish, malty-fresh, interesting dry.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
(older 09/2014 rating, 33cl bottle at The Capital Leuven) Nice amber-yellow pour. Nose of lactically lifted fruit esters, an alleviation copied with success in taste and mouthfeel: beneath is the benchmark orchard fruits and fraught pale grains of a BE tripel, interwoven and on top are the gorgeous wild citric and lactic sours providing mild wheaty contours. Tastes very much like a fresh "cut" of both base beers, instead of an organic new beer, but that is what makes it so drinkable. Curious to know what will happen with the purchased 75cl bottle..

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy orange beer with a small white head. Very fresh and sour aroma of gueuze. Flavour is acidic, yeasty and mildly sour from the lambic. (Bottle 33cl)

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Murky apple juice. Aroma: sour, cheese, apple cider, nettle, marjoram. Taste: cactus sourness, apple cider followed by a light yeasty triple flavor. Cheese in the aftertaste, hint of exotic fruits. Sourness wins in subsequent sips.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Backlog rating. 33cl bottle shared at Caspar tasting at Chriso’s, London. Very nice funkiness, basement and citrus notes, interwined with Belgian yeast that further dries out the palate. Very nice blend of styles and an enjoyable brew overall

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
25.4 oz. bottle, labeled “08/06/16,” which I interpret as a best by date indicating that it was bottled on June 8, 2014. The label was on a nice, solid, artificial cork. Pours a hazy deep gold with a large amount of thick, cream-colored to off-white head. Moderate effervescence. Tart, honeyed, mineral, yeasty aroma. Scents of green apples and honey. Very good smell. Dry, tart, honeyed, mineral flavor. Tastes a bit like a tarter version of an old-fashioned honey candy. Lemon juice and lemon peel elements. Perhaps a bit sour and a touch funky but mostly tart. Bitter, almost umami finish. Light to moderately dry aftertaste. Light to medium body. Aqueous in the palate. Surprisingly light for a 7% ABV beer. Starts quite strong, especially in terms of aroma. Ends somewhat disappointingly and boringly. Not as flavorful as it should be. Still, I enjoy it, and it’s quite drinkable for the style.
