COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mix of Vicaris Tripel and Boon lambic.

Bottle at De Kelk, Brugge, 17/10/14. Golden orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is tarte citrics, woody notes, dank tones, light dry rot, tarte fruit rinds. Taste comprises tarte mandarin, tangy mellow fruits, light must, spice, citric tinged straw, earthy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light acidity in the close. Decent mellow sour, not too complex but delivers.

Bottle from Rare Beer Club- pours hazy deep golden, bright white thin head. Nose of Belgian yeast, melon, funk, barnyard, oak. Interesting combo of Tripel sweetness, melon, lemon notes along with citric acidity and oak. Dug it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a full flavored beer that starts on the nose with an apparent yeastiness, orange blossom honey, baking spices and citrus. When tasting this beer it’s a different story with tropical fruits like pineapple present up front that leads into a candied lime zest flavor. Slightly sweet and dominatly tart this beer packs allot of flavor and finishes dry. This is a highly enjoyable combination

Hazy golden color, moderate head, decent lace/retention. Aroma is barnyard action, basement, lightly spiced, pale malt. Medium bodied, moderate sourness, pretty nice.

Shared 750 ml. bottle poured to snifters, showing a cloudy, orangey gold color, with a white, bubbly head, and spots & strands of lacing. The aroma started dry and sour, then followed with more of a traditional Tripel nose, with Belgian yeast, spice, citrus as lemon & orange, and a hint of candy sweetness. Medium bodied, the taste was similar, with lively carbonation that helped accentuate the amped tartness & dryness, some alcohol participation, and a crisp finish. An appealing blend.

Clear golden, fluffy white head. Acetic aroma with estery notes. Flavour is sour with hints of malt. Lively carb, fluffy mouthfeel. Alcohol appears in light, bitter finish.

I went into this beer with restrained but dignified hesitance, I will freely admit that, but, with an open heart and eager mouth, no doubt. While it is not a bad blended beer - yes, you get the sweetish bubblegum-y, peach-laden trip and tangy, sourish gueze- it makes me think of a BBQ pulled pork pizza, frankly. I love me some barbecue and the ChainGangGuy would be hard-pressed indeed to willingly turn down a hot, cheesy pie, but together? No. No, thank you. I would much prefer these two beers components separated (but equal).

Poured from bottle to glass. Hazy golden hue with white head. Aroma is lemon, pear, melon, peppercorn, slight funk. Mouthfeel is good with a light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a peppery spice following and tart earthy finish. Overall this is a decent brew.
