COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mix of Vicaris Tripel and Boon lambic.

never had a triple/lambic mix before. I have to say I like it! start of sweet, then a soury bitterness follows. nice!

On tap @Buskers Pub (Rome). Pours cloudy light amber with a medium and persistent white head. Aroma of wild yeasts, hay, cellar, malty notes, esters. Flavour is malty, sweet with a sourish end... strange! Medium body, medium to light carbonation. Interesting...

Bottle at home. Hazy golden colour, big white foamy head. Very fruity nose and taste, nicely but lightly sour and a bit earthy/musty, firm malty base and tripel-yeasty banana and spiciness. Gueuze and tripel beautifully matching in tones and mouthfeel. Dry finish, lasting long. Lively carbonation, good body.

(En fût à Stone Liberty Station): Un nez de biscuit légèrement sauvage et mentholé. En bouche c’est très moelleux avec une touche minérale/herbacée succulente. Un mélange entre une pale ale belge et une gueuze, belle surprise.

Draught at The Beer Trappe. There is banana and citrus mixed with some pepper and some of that traditional gueuze taste. Very interesting and tasty.

Draft, unusual, unexpected taste. Not a a sour as I am used to. Good smell and palate.

Bottle. Opaque golden body, medium tall head. Aroma offers exactly what it says on the tin: mild Gueuze sourness mixed with the more grain-oriented aspects of a Tripel. Taste is also pretty much how I imagined it to be: there are notable notes of refreshing sourness but I can taste the soft cookie-like maltiness of a Triple in there too. Interesting idea for a blend, good execution! Suitable for when you want something mildly sour but not as sour as proper Lambics.

Amber with orange notes and rich off white head. Sur aroma. NIce fruity sour taste with saome bitterness later. Good gueze taste with some yasty notes too.

Smooth lush and an acknowledgement of the beauty of a Tripel. I could drink often because of the smoothness

33cl bottle at home. Somewhat hazy dark orange with medium white soapy head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Well balanced sweet, sour and bitter tones. Peach, lemon, some vinegar, grass, caramel and malts. A tasty sour brew!
