Light golden colour, cloudy. Fine foam, dense, thick, creamy. Smell dry, herb. Taste like honey, biscuit, malt, orange; round bitterness at last. A subtl "tripel".

VincentKabel (221) - Haarlem, NETHERLANDS - NOV 6, 2014
A light golden beer with a bright white head. High in carbonation. Slight fruitiness with hints of peach in the aroma and also in the taste. Hops, fruitiness, caramel and some honey can be detected in the taste. Smooth aftertaste. Pretty nice refreshing tripel beer, but not interesting enough to make a great beer.

Fashawn (168) - Montesarchio, ITALY - NOV 1, 2014
Birra bionda, schiuma bianca resistente. Pesche, banana, albicocca e fiori. Sapore di albicocca e biscotti al burro. Tripel strana ma piacevole. Buona carbonatazione, corpo medio, al palato è vellutata.

Alengrin (2355) - BELGIUM - OCT 30, 2014
Dilewyns’ first beer, with thick, off-white, moussy head, thinning but remaining quite stable, hazy peach blonde colour. Fruity aroma, peach, orange peel, red apple, pineapple, gin, coriander, honey, pepper. Fruity taste, light apple, subtle citrus peel, light honeyish and caramelly malt base, vague sweetishness, not sugary, mild spiciness, thinnish mouthfeel, mild grassy hop bitterishness, some warming alcohol and some faint plastic-like solvents - but this was the ’Proef’brouwerij version, time to re-rate. In this original form: okay but stereotypical.

Poured Hazy light orange/amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma of sweet fruit and bitter hops. Medium body, quite lively, flavour is medium sweet, moderately bitter and slightly yeasty.

From tap @In de Wildeman. Clight hazy pale golden, a lot of bubbles, one finger frothy white head, mostly lasting, good lacing; aroma fruity, citrus, lemon grass, grapefruit, coriander, yeast, herbal; taste light fruity sweet, moderate bitter, citrus hops; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; dry and fresh bittersweet finish, citrus, herbal notes. Alcohol well hidden. A very nice light and hoppy tripel.

Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has a hazy light yellow color and a nice white head, with a lot of bubbles. In the aroma clear tones of hops, citrus, yeast and malts. Also a little bread is noticable. The taste is light sweet which is nicely balanced with the little bitterness. Very fruity to change into a malty bitterness. The finish is a little sweet and malty but overall very refreshing. Not your average tripel, but I like this idea.

bartlebier (1884) - Belchum im Breisgau, GERMANY - SEP 6, 2014
33cl bottle at Taverne The Maple, Ertvelde, 09/2014. Finally, an enjoyable dry, bitter, not entirely fumes/pear/esters-centered tripel for a generation looking to be remunerated with extra taste instead of booziness when drinking over 8%. Fresh pollen/honey, lemon grass and citrus rind aromas are continued in taste, with fruitiness providing just a faint backdrop. Dry biscuit malts. Subtle mid complexity, maybe not at its exprssive peak with a gentle finish, making it almost thirst quenching.

EddyBeer1 (920) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 24, 2014
Dorée trouble, effervescence moyenne, col blanc crémeux moyen. Plutôt maltée en entrée, elle laisse fruits et amertume s’épanouir petit à petit, finissant sur un parfait équilibre malgré un rien trop d’alcool sur la fin.
