The beer looks very tasty, but it is way too sweet in my opinion. The sweetness makes the beer very heavy. It’s not a terrible beer, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Kindly shared by Jaghana. Nez fruité (citron agrumes), alcool, note de levures. Gout fruité agrumes (vieux citron et orange) avec levures, épices et houblon avec notes aigres et alcool. Pas trop a mon gout, proche d’une saison que j’aime pas.

Bottle 33cl, a clear golden beer with good head. Nose is low on orange and alcohol. Aroma is medium malty, grassy hops, medium bitterness, dry feeling but with sugar and candy notes, light toasted malt notes that came from the hops I guess, some metallic hints, some honey touch, quite strong, ok.

Stubby bottle, 330mL, poured carefully. Nose sweet and malty, pils with light herbal/grass, but also candy and a touch of vanilla. Pours rich golden closer to orange, frothy just-white head. Taste has classic tripel graininess, clean pils with faint yeast spiciness, mild noble hops, some mild alcohol showing, sweet golden malt but sill digestible. Honey and vanilla luxuriate. Full body super creamy and smooth, thick without heft. Doesn’t scream complexity but has good depth and delicious repeatability despite the hidden size; also much rounder and less sharp than many tripels, and not tangy at all - absolutely one of my favorites. Phenols just an accent here, and the pear/banana esters are mild. Sort of a stepped-up, bold golden, and highly recommended. [2015.11.13: 4.4]

fairly robust, grainy, full bodied, quite sweet, touch of asparagus? plasticky note, lively carbonation, rich, clean.

Shark_Pants (562) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 24, 2015
Clear, bright golden pour with generous creamy white head and cascading streams of small bubbles. Aroma of grains, light hay, honey, dried apricot. The taste is fresh multigrain bread, floral honey, light astringency, pepper and clove notes. Medium bodied, lightly acidic, 8.5% ABV unnoticeable. Quite a complex and enjoyable tripel.

Sample at the brewery. Aroma of cereal, pepper, fruits. Pours orange dark gold, hazy, very large white head which lasts a decent time. Fruity, mild bitter. Medium dry bitter finish, fruity aftertaste.

AssKicker (129) - Strasbourg, FRANCE - OCT 2, 2015
Mélange de caramel et de malt en entrée de bouche, pour ensuite laisser s’exprimer une légère amertume et un soupçon de levure. Contrairement à d’autres, je ne la trouve pas excessivement sucrée. Par contre elle est assez classique pour une belge.
