COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Victoria Bitter has been Australia’s favorite full strength beer brand for many years. VB, as it is widely known, was launched in the 1890s and since then has developed a reputation as a great beer with a tradition of rewarding Australians who work and play hard.

The alcohol percentage went down from 4.8% to 4.6% in 2009.

375 ml bottle (4.6% version). Golden color, frothy white head. Smooth, fairly sweet flavor with hints of alcohol, malty finish. Medium-light body. I’m having some trouble understanding how this is a "bitter". Oh well.

Bottle & Tap - A staple beer of mine. A beer that tastes better the colder it is served. Has a straw/hay flavours, with minimal bitterness. Its a cheap, middle road beer to share with your mates.

Bottle in a hotel room in Göteborg. Clear golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of malts, grass, grain and hay. Malty flavour of hay and caramel with notes of bread and hops. Hoppy finish.

Clear golden colour, quite highly carbonated when poured however little to no head. Is it possible for something to SMELL bitter? Tangy aroma. Funky, bitterish taste, very watery. Leaves a moderate bitter after taste. VB is the enemy of beer drinkers in Australia, because it teaches people that this is what beer is supposed to taste like.

This seemed a standard lager for me, perhaps lacking in the sulphurous edge of some of the bad examples, light and clean, hint of bitterness and a watery, slightly carbonated palate.

BOUGHT IN Amsterdam. Golden color with a nice foam. aroma is quite hoppy and malty, some floral notes. Flavor is refreshing and fry. Aftertaste is short, but is a cheap beer. Drinkable.
