COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Victoria Bitter has been Australia’s favorite full strength beer brand for many years. VB, as it is widely known, was launched in the 1890s and since then has developed a reputation as a great beer with a tradition of rewarding Australians who work and play hard.

The alcohol percentage went down from 4.8% to 4.6% in 2009.

Decent drinking beer. Odd creamy aroma, sweet malts that are not the highest quality, vanilla, corn. It does have a fragrant smell to it. Has the standard dull gold look with a small white cap and thin retension. No lacing. Mouthfeel is soft with some carbonation and teeters on the thick side when warmer. Taste is alright as long as you don’t let it get to warm as I found it better and smoother on the chilled side. There is some slight alcohol taste, mild bitterness and corn. As an extra added bonus it begins to taste like a 40oz malt liquor when nearing room temperature. Pretty hard to justify dropping $16 or $17 on a 6 ’er of this stuff unless you love it.

Used to drink it a lot when I was younger - at sub zero temperature - have grown wiser these days. Chemical rubbish, doesn’t really taste like beer and not refreshing at all. No malt or hop flavours. Not recommended.

The pride of Victoria, but pretty much equal with bud. Has to be served ice cold to be decent. You have to try it cause its so popular but its rubbish.

Tastes alright at near subzero temperatures. Otherwise, tastes God awful, will make you retch, is favoured by absolute morons, will give you a toxic hangover and give you a massive case of heartburn after 2 bottles. Most of my friends call this "Vaginal Backwash" for good reason, it’s toxic shit.

The 2 degree special. That is the recommended temprature this beer has to be to drink it. So cold you cannot taste it. Lift the temp by a degree and you get an unbalanced lager with little to compare itself an actual bitter. Down the list of Carlton United Beers worth trying.

250ml bottle. Amber in colour with a small head of sudsy big bubbles. The head fades to a white shadow on top of the beer. Aroma of malt and hops, bitter and pungnent. Thin bodied with little taste and mild bitterness. No real flavour.
