not vegetarian-friendly. otherwise from what i remember, a poor watery, overglorified excuse for beer
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Plimmer (251) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 17, 2008
Bottle 375ml. Pours a clear golden body with a medium size white head. Sweet hops in the nose. Pretty neutral flavour with a little hops and sweet/bitter aftertaste.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 jspruit (122) - Dublin, IRELAND - JAN 28, 2008
Bought this at O’Neills off-license here in Dublin and drank it on Australia Day, January 26th.
No pour as I drank it out of the 375ml bottle-I can’t imagine that I missed much there though to be honest.
Doesn’t really smell of much-a bit metallic, certainly not hoppy or malty or bitter at all.
Some carbonation and golden in color. Tastes mostly like any generic lager, American or Australian or European, and a bit of chemicals.
Mouthfeel is light, and goes down easy with little resistance. Not much of an aftertaste really. I could see how you could pound these all day, but I dont think that I’ll be doing that anytime soon. I suppose that it is the equivalent of a lawnnmower beer in the states, perhaps something you drink ice cold on a hot summer day.

can/stubbie/tap:best out of stubbie, colder the better. got worse since the recent change(to save money). basicly, it just is simple beer, smell and looks wise smells like a hangover, looks like golden clear amber, white head. only for hot days at a bbq. Cheers

Bottled, pasteurised, 375ml. From Phil, cheers. Yellow gold with white head. Corny, sweet aroma followed by a thin, adjunct laden, highly carbonated pale lager. Slight eggy note with a sweet finish. Poor stuff.

I drink this stuff...when I’m drunk and short of cash! For the well informed, this is a very basic drink. It looks like a beer, smells like a beer, and tastes like a beer. At the Barbie, it’s a great companion with the tucker. Pour it cold into a glass...never drink out of the can. Stubbies excepted. Overall a nice drop on a hot day and as the ad says "a hard earned thirst..." fits in well in our wide...dry...hot...brown land.
