Aroma: it smells like any other soul-less macro, corny, sweet but with an added hint of banana. Not offensive, but not enticing. Taste: possibly the blandest, most watery and insipid beer I have yet sampled. I couldn’t finish the 330ml bottle because it was bloating me and I was about to eat dinner.

375ml bottle shared by Stefan at Beer Session 26.Oct.2011. Pours a clear golden body wht nice white foamy head. Smells like wet cat, cookies, banana, cactus and wet wool, maybe a hint of dishcloth to. Tastes like cardboard, paper and lemon. It’s not bitter, it’s awful! I like the bottle and design though...

What can I say here... BlackIPA went way... way out of his way to hook me up on this one. I am humbled by & grateful for his efforts.
On the occasion of my 100th Pale Lager Rating, I have the honor of tasting and rating a bottle of 2pac’s favorite beer.
It was 2pac who once said: "VB is the best fucken beer ever brewed. fuck all you american cunts who say otherwise, cause you cunts drink beer that tastes like fucken piss. and fuck all you ’aussie’ bastards who say VB is dirty. fucken retarded cunts. FUCK YOUSE ALL. unless you like VB."
In this show of favor for the beer coupled with destain for anyone who feels any kind of inferiority of the product, 2pac presents us with an incomparable homage to his favorite beer. Who among us would not want to try such a beverage?
It is with great pleasure that I find myself in a position to do so this evening.
The beer pours a pale golden color with a very large white head and plenty of nice lacing on the glass.
The aroma is lightly tinny with some breakfast cereal character.... lightly fruity... but all around fairly uninviting, yet not wholly offensive.
The flavor is actually enjoyable... or at least as enjoyable as I ever expected it to be. Bright & lightly bitter, not especially sweet, not overwhelming with corn or breakfast cereal... honestly fairly clean tasting. The bitterness is herbal... and while this is by no means a "hoppy" beer it has a defined hop character and a pleasant bitterness that is just generally lost in this style of beer. Something about it reminds me of my favorite Pale Lager "Point Special" in as much as it uses enough hops, and enough bright malt flavor to sort of excuse some of the unpleasant things about it.

So, this is a "bitter"? I disagree. Maize and herbs, hint of honey. Micro-dose of bitterness detected. Very light and bland, but probably better enjoyed in Australia’s hot summer.

This is the worst beer I’ve ever tried, if we can call that a beer. Even worse than Kronenbourg, 1664 or Fischer in France. That’s a performance.
