1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
I lived in Australia for close to a year and I only tried this beer a few times and I hated it every time. However I saw this beer when I was in Europe and I was feeling nostalgic and I thought maybe I should give it one last try. Bad move.
Pours pale yellow with thin white head
Smells- Kind of skunky
Tastes-Not much flavor and what is there isnít very good. Very slight sweetness with a bitter aftertaste.
MF- SLight carbonation
Overall- Not worth it.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2014 Review: Bottle of VB beer, 4.9%ABV
Australiaís famous VB with its iconic brown stubby, and the famous aftertaste, great while watching the footie and cricket!
Pours an dark golden color, clear, topped with a thin white head with medium retention, and a little lacing left in the glass.
The aroma is mostly of faint grains, sweet malts and low hops.
Sweet malty taste, there is a strong taste of creamy bitterness at the end which I guess is where the "bitter" comes into the equation. Have to say the sour aftertaste did grow on me, wasnt sure at the start but got to like it in the end.

0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Probably even worse than West End Draught, and thatís saying a lot. Hopefully for fellow South Australians this is true. Itís thin, itís washing up liquid. Itís a multi purpose coolant.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from local Yamaya store. Mild cardboard nose, sweet cheap malt, sweat. Medium golden straw color. Muddled sweetness: sugar, molasses, grain. Very slight hopping in final. Thin body. Rather flavorless and also a bit rasty on the tongue.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 7/20
This is kind of a classic. Iím very fond of Australia, and the best cold beer is Vicís as they say. Well, itís a tad more tasty than all the other lagers sold in Australia, with an extra bite to it which makes it so effective in the super hot Aussie Sun.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours an orangey golden color, clear, topped with a decent white head and a solid retention.
The aroma is mostly malty along with some biscuity notes.
The taste is pleasantly bitter throughout, with a slightly unpleasant metal feel in the aftertase.
Otherwise nicely drinkable.

This stuff is dreadful, I would honestly rather not drink than touch this stuff. Plenty of people like it and I canít understand why, Iíve tried many times but now have given up. Do yourself a favour and donít bother.
