SO I had quite a few of these in Nicaragua where the selection was very minimal. But nonetheless, they all hold some sort of sentimental meaning to me. No matter how poopy they tasted. You guessed it. pure golden swill. Dry, malty, corn all around but quenched my thirst in the hot hot heat.

From the 355 ml. bottle marked 030310-1453A6. It pours a golden-yellow with essentially no head. The aroma tends to be malted with a twist of hops. Thin mouthfeel. The taste has a more malted, corny taste with just a bit of hops in the end. It was tolerable but if a friend hadn’t given this to me as a gift, I expect I would never had gone out of my way to look for it.

Served from a 12 oz bottle while in Corinto, Nicaragua on the honeymoon cruise. The aromas and flavors are pilsner malts with a light bitterness. Not too bad.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2009 Clear 350mL bottle. Pours a slightly pale straw color; patchy white head with light retention. Bland aroma of sugar and light citrus and a touch of butter; no me gusta. Light-to-medium mouthfeel: honestly, this has a better presence in the mouth than the Premium, which has that vanilla syrup off-flavor; this is just basic well-carbonated corn and sugar and very light fake citrus; drinkable, but not something you’d actually want to drink. Made with extra cold. The finish on this is actually relatively pleasant: toastiness, light vanilla, even a touch of (god help me) breadiness. Not so awful!
