1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Slight but not extensive difference from Mexican pale lagers. A little malt in the nose maybe honey backed by grain and grass. Deep golden with a white fizzy head. Slightly sweet yet balanced. Well rounded, light bodied, and a little sweet in the finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Milagro’s in Redwood City, CA. Very light in flavor... light malts, some grass. I really didn’t hate this and it certainly doesn’t deserve a score of 8. There are much worse beers out there that score higher.

Bottle in Mexico airport-- Pours clear golden with thin white head. Nose is classic lager. Aromas are grain, grass and a touch of honey. Lively carbonation, light body. Abrupt finish. Refreshing industrial lager.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
From the bar at Privilege Aluxes, Isla Mujeres. Copper-amber color with very little head. Malt aroma, weak hops. Passable flavor, but not that great.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle in plastic cup at Sabor Terrace bar at Aluxes. Overall just a slight change of pace for Corona. Nothing great just a hint of darker malt. Meh.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from 12 oz bottle into pilsner glass.
Appearance: pours a 2" white head that drops slowly with moderate lacing. Color is clear light amber with moderate streaming carbonation.
Aroma: a bit of caramel, sweet barley, some raisin and slight grassy hops.
Mouthfeel: light to medium bodied, slightly oily with a mostly dry finish.
Flavor: caramel and bready malts, a bit of lemon.
Overall: a pleasant brew that pairs well with spicy cuisine.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Really bad, make corona great. And the ate too. This has a horrid metallic taste. Total drain pour, even on a hot day this is undrinkable. Too much metal and rusty crud going on.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
12oz bottle pours a light Amber with a small grayish white head. Aroma of muted caramel and toffee malts. It tastes like the aftertaste of a bad Amber Ale, bitter paper. Gross.

1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Yup, this is a typical Mexican lager. Doesn’t have the slight oxidized flavor, like Corona. Still better than BMC, but not by much.

A- Bland, corn, watery, nothing.
A- Amber color, clear liquid, white head.
T- Bland, watery, corn.
P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, bland finish.
O- I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to drink this or water my house plants with it. They sure are sneaky down in Mexico by bottling up brown colored water and calling it beer. Seriously, I’m 99% sure this was colored water. I don’t know how to rate this. It’s not horrid and undrinkable. It’s just so tasteless that I’m not sure how to rate what essentially tastes like H2O because I love a good cold glass of water. But I don’t love this. This is honestly lighter than even Bud Light or the likes. Waiter! Lemon wedge, please!
