On tap at a soccer game. Decent Lager. Touches of roasted hoppiness and no off-putting adjunct flavors make this one of the better Mexican beers I’ve had.

bottle - probably the best Mexican beer I’ve had - actually drinkable and would be my go to Mexican beer

Aroma of barley and grain. Poured a boring dark yellow color. Tasted slight caramel malts and hay. Mild carbonation. Overall this is one of Mexico’s best brews, but that’s not saying much. Pass, next please

very similar to Corona, but just a tad heavier and more flavorful, a good summer beer... tastes better the more I drink!

Light amber with small off-white head. A little caramel in the nose. Some wheat and grassy note, with a nutty middle, and slight malt finish. Not bad, not offensive, but not great. Unlike my wife, (who goes by the same name) who is awesome, smooth, and only occasionally bad.

The aroma is on the sweet side, almost seems like there’s some caramel in there. The color is a good amber with a thin beige head. It starts out slightly sweet tasting and fades into something slightly bitter and woody. The beer is very thin with some feeling of carbonation. Ok, but not great.

Got this at Krogers on Broadway. Copper. White, medium head. Aroma: Light Caramel malt. Flavor: Started good, then this bitter, metalic flavor dominated to the finish. Sorry Mexico but you don’t even do as well as the USA in this style, much less the Germans. There are other dark beers from Mexico that are decent but not this one.

12oz in Drake’s pint. Clear amber with small fizzy head. Warm, corny, crackery aroma. Clean beery taste, but not much of it. Very thin but refreshing for that. Modelo didn’t need to market another Vienna in the states; they already have one of the best.

Given to me by the local Mexican Resturant. Waiter said it was his favorite. Not much aroma, and a weak taste. I didn't like it as much as modela and dos Equis dark. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled from bottle. Pours a clear amber-gold with a minimal off-white head. Aroma is clean with a bit of sourness, but otherwise without character. Flavor is well-balanced and clean with toasted malts (vienna/munich?). Light-bodied with medium to high carbonation. Quite refreshing while wasting your time away on a Mexican holiday.
