Victoria , a pilsener-vienna type beer, is the most traditional out of Modelo´s brand portfolio. Unique for its bitterness and strong flavor which instantly pleases even the most demanding consumer. With more than 135 years of excellence, Victoria is one of the oldest beers produced in Mexico.

Probably the best mass-produced Mexican beer out there. That being said, it’s not a great beer, but it is a nice thirst quencher on a hot day. Light amber body, mild hay and malt aroma, slight palate, and pretty sweet flavor. Goes down like a glass of water. Not bad.

Pours a light amber with a white head. Nose is faint caramel. Body is light. Taste is slight caramel with little bitterness. It has Grupo Modelo properties: light and unoffensive in all aspects. 12 oz bottle

Pours a clear pale golden color. Aroma of a slight malt sweetness and bit of citrus. Taste of light malt sweetness and citrus. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, smooth and refreshing. Much better than expected.

Undated 12 oz bottle served in a lager glass. Pours with a deep medium amber body and a moderate size head that displays very good retention and leaves plenty of lacing on the glass. Aroma: primarily Pilsner style hops. Flavor: mainly Pilsner style hops with some faint baked bread and mild+ bitterness. I can’t agree with Modelo that this has "strong flavor", but it is flavorful and bold in the realm of mass-produced Mexican lagers. Mouthfeel: Light body with very crisp carbonation and a dry finish.

Bottle from a Latino market. Clear golden amber color, thin white head. Aroma of black pepper and straw. Taste has peppery biscuit. Actually not too bad.

Bottle from Campos. Typical Mexican lager, although not as watery as some. The little bit of taste just falls flat, weak aroma as well. Thirst quenching ability a plus, but kind of a weak lager overall

More malty corn-sweetness than the Pacifico I had earlier today, but again, a crisp easy to drink beer for the summer. I suppose the score is more representative of the style than this particular beer.

Slight amber color. Not what i was expected - i.e a thin yellow bear. Instead a thin amber beer. Relatively enjoyable but pretty light and watery.

Bottle from Milagro’s in Redwood City, CA. Very light in flavor... light malts, some grass. I really didn’t hate this and it certainly doesn’t deserve a score of 8. There are much worse beers out there that score higher.
