Nice mellow lager. Goes down easy, but has a good body on it as well. Refreshing and solid- a good beer for drinking unaccompanied by food.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A decent alternative to the regular Victory lager. Medium brown in color, slight reddish tint. A little bit sweeter and maltier than the standard All Malt Lager. Not being a huge lager fan, I find myself enjoying this beer more and more.

2.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Beer pours (in Chimay glass) a dark brown, near-cloudy liquick with off-white, light caramel-colored head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a sweet, dark woody textured varnish. Flavor is a medium hop covering a faint malt with a very, very dry ending. Aroma is very interesting, flavor has been done before. Nothing special. Sampled at 71 degrees Fahrenheit.

a good silid dunkel that holds up well against most german brewers.
dark brown, with a bready nutty nose.
taste is predominantly malty and sweet but it has a zesty hop finish.
another good victory beer.

Solid offering from Victory. Dark red/brown, very clear. Nice cream colored and foamy head with lasting film and some lace. Nose of light malt, slight fruit, maybe pear. Firm mouth of malt, milk chocolate and a balancing hop spiciness. Clean finish with some pale malt flavors.

Creamy and smooth presentation... good complexity in flavor. Another of the great beers on tap at Fat Head's on Carson St. in Pittsburgh!

Mmm, a fine dunkel that was lighter than most. But a pleasant lager. Reminiscent of a nut brown beer.

A very nice beer to drink with a bratwurst and sauerkraut sandwich. Very smoth and creamy. Nothing overly impressive with this beer, but just nicely flavored and easy to drnk. Appearance is similar to a clearly nut brown beer. Minimal head and fair lacing.

Just put on the tap yesterday. Well, it is a great lager, if that is your style of beer. Initially, it is a bit weak, but the flavor kicks in quickly. The malts are light, but refreshing.
