3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
An interesting beer on tap at Victory. Reminiscent of Prima Pils, but less bitter with more fruity esthers coming through. Much grassier as well. Slightly cloudy yellow with thin head. green malts coming through. Not horrible, not great. Decent.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Victory. Solid pilsner, which is hard for me to say. Usually this style is exceptionally boring, but this one, surprisingly, had quite a bit going on. Good bitterness for a pils.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2004 tap @ Victory. The gal said "they just tapped the keg". Decent white head but fell fairly quick, min lace, clear pale gold color, moderate carbonation. This was a nice pils. Been a long time since I had a good one. Dry, nice bitterness, It had a Hallertauer type hop flavor and bitterness ( Probably Saaz though). Very clean, fresh, and a bit nippy w a pleasant crisp sharpness. Nicely balanced with enough malt to back up the hops. Very refreshing.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewery. Pours pale gold with a medium head. Aroma of malt, hops, some honey. Tastes malty, with some hops, and a nice, honey malt sweetness at the finish, while retaining a smooth, crisp finish. For my money this one is more flavorful than Prima Pils. Nice balance and super complexity.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewery. Grainy aroma with a sour hoppiness in there. This is interesting. Transparent applejuice color with a small white head. Tangy start bittering into quite a hoppy finish. Seems a little overhopped, but I guess this particular type of pils is supposed to be hoppy.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pretty comparable to the Prima Pils, golden color, very clean appearance, nice bubbly white head, nose full of hops & floral notes, very crisp, medium body, excellently balanced, great session beer

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Gold, nose a bit lemony and malty. Malty sweet and a bit bready, good hops at the end, but pleasantly restrained, not quite as assertive as Prima.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Super earthy aroma, some peppery notes. Unfiltered, looks like a weizen. Thick, bitterish taste--scrambled eggs with pepper--no joke! *Wierd* aftertaste that I can’t quite place. Alright. Not as good as the Prima.
