I had two very different samples this week. One was an unfiltered draft, which was yeasty, very hazy, almost hefe in its appearance, mouthfeel, and citrus overtones. The other was a rare Tett bottling. I’ll rate the bottles, because they are more like the drafts that I have had previously at the brewery. The beer has a light Pils grassy or herbal nose. Mine was gorgeously clear, rich gold with a huge white head. Taste of bitter tett hopping, but not as bitter or as intense as previous braumiester Pils. Dry, simple, easy to drink, with a long bitter finish. // Had another a couple of days later and I really do like the assertive bitter finish.

Aug 25, 2008 (Draught) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of floral, grass, herbs, toasted cereal, and light citrus. Flavor of crisp hops (grass, herbal) and toasted grain.

Select pils:
Pour pale clear and yellow with a minimal white head. Mild hoppy aroma. Mild citric lime hops, quite light flavoured and bodied. Mild dry finish. 5-2-7-3-13=3.0
Tettnanger Pils:
Pours pale yellow with a white head. Mild hoppy aroma. Smooth yet also bitter flavoured into the finish. Mild fruity into the finish too.6-3-6-3-13=3.1

Aug 6, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Hazy lemon with a white head. Sweet bread nose with a lemony tang to it, bit of grass. Flavor follows the nose. Decent.

Jul 31, 2008 On cask at GL. Pours a clear yellow gold with a tiny white head that quickly fades. Aroma of crisp hops and light grains. Taste is hoppy with hints of grains.

Jul 21, 2008 cbc braumeister pils on tap at Victory. Pours hazy gold with a thin white head. thin hoppy bitterness with lots of floral perfuminess on the nose, something like shalimar. taste is piney and dry with slight lemon and a big wheaty back. crisp, clean finish. not bad at all.
