obxdude10 (2022) - Limerick, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 4, 2005
One of the better brown ales Iíve sampled in a long time, reddish-brown color, not all that much head though, very little lacing around the glass, not much of an aroma but did have notes of malt & chocolate, medium-light body, pretty smooth & drinkable, would make a nice session beer, nutty taste with other notes of chocolate & malt, balanced finish with more nutty flavors

egajdzis (5253) - Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 27, 2005
Poured a reddish brown color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of nuts, caramel, and light citrus (oranges) hoppiness. Taste was nutty and buttery, caramel, light roast, with a resiny, lightly bitter finish.
