A richly colored ale of character... Mildly aromatic with the richness of dark, German malts to support the dryish English hops, this brown ale has both substance and character. You’ll find the subtle flavor of dark, baker’s chocolate, with it’s cocoa, nut-like taste, in this complex, but mellow ale. COMPOSITION Malts: 4 types of imported German malts Hops: British East Kent & Styrian Goldings hops Alcohol by Vol. 5.4%

Aroma: Brown sugar sweetness with hints of roasted malts. Appearance: Dark mahogany with tan head that dissipates quickly but leaves lots of lacing. Taste: Medium sweetness balanced by medium bitterness. Palate: Medium body, soft carbonation, slick watery texture, roasted finish. Overall: Nice, soft beer with a mellow, roasted flavor. Perfect beer to curl up by the fire with.

Pours a rich caramel brown. Nose is roasted nuts and coffee beans. Mouth is dry, yet full profile, lots of roasted coffee beans, cashews, a light leafy hop. Medium body. Tried this next to Victory Village which was interesting, this has more roasted malts but less upfront coffee.

Pours a clear deep amber with a medium lt tan head...nice lacing. Aroma has light roastiness...almost chocolate and even coffee but very faint. Flavor has chocolate, coffee, and roasty caramely notes. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is roasty with notes of dry leaves and earthy bitterness.
