DocLock (4083), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 6, 2005 Had this last fall. Copper colored with aroma of caramel malt, almond, toffee, some cabernet. Solid complexity and balance. egajdzis (2947), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 13, 2004 The "Mild" is available cask from the brewery for a limited time after a batch of V12 is produced... Poured a clear copper color with a tight white head and nice lacing. Nutty, toasty, lightly fruity aroma. Taste was caramel malt, light nuts, and a funky hop flavor. Thin, rather refreshing, but very dry almost sour. Much less fruity than the regular mild. aracauna (2238), Georgia, USA Jun 5, 2004 I was told that this was the second runnings from the mash of the V12 with a little chocolate malt thrown in. I also had it from the hand pump which made a great beer even better. Beeeautiful head. Thick and creamy. Medium copper body. The aroma is butter and maple. The same carries through into the flavor is a little nuttiness and fruit. It’s like a stack of pancakes without the full belly. Awesome mild.
