I had this at Global Brew. Pours clear gold with a white head. Taste sweet, citrus, pine. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again.

Darkish-yellow color with a small head. Aroma is citrus, a little bit of alcohol. Taste is a combo of sweet malt, citrus hops and piney hops. The alcohol is not apparent in the taste. A decent DIPA that I like better than Hop Wallop if I remember it correctly.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Clear golden with a big foamy white head. Amazing aroma of earthy floral and lemony hops, whole cone fresh smelling hops and a sweet citrus-ish tone. The taste is spot on where it needs to be. Fresh and leafy, with a wee earthy bitterness, some fresh whole cone hoppy flavors, a bit of lemon, a touch of pine resin and something like lilac, and a balancing though somewhat bland-ish malt undertone that sweetens but doesn’t distract. Some wee bit of sweet-ish orange hop tones to provide a bit of sugary malt...or something. Hard to describe when hops taste semisweet.

drank form a snifter. pours i copper/gold color with a medium head, aromas are of pine with a a slight grapefruit. taste has an immediate surge of pine backed by a soft grapefruit taste, then has a slight mixed berryr taste in the middle and finised with a berry/piney taste. overall a solid and intresting take on a DIPA but not quite my favorite

Difficult to describe the appeal of the leaf-litter type of flavor and aroma of this fantastically great-tasting beer! Reminiscent of a handful of loose, dark, composting leaf dirt from the woods. Only downside is the high alcohol & price tag.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very nice, super hazy golden and honey straw coloured body with a small, one centimetre tall head - all with quite a bit of bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of potent, pungent and grassy hops with a very resinous note, some alcohol and a bit of sugars all in the smell - very nice. Medium-bodied; Resinous, herbal and piney hop notes throughout with some sticky sweet sugars, a little grass and quite a bit of yeast and malt noticeable at the end. Aftertaste shows a perfect balance of hops and malt for the style and a good complexity showing sweetness and malt in addition to the ridiculous hops. Overall, a great Imperial IPA with a perfect depth and a welcomed balance of malt and hops in addition to a nice subtle sweetness. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York, New York (Bowery) on 01-November-2013 for US$2.99 sampled at home in Washington on 04-March-2014.

Slightly hazy orangish yellow, moderate white head. Mild aroma of grapefruit, orange, lemon, mango, and hay. Sweet with a little bitterness rounding out the edges. Some oiliness, spicy carbonation, and a bit of booziness.

@ Weiland’s Market / Columbus OH --- Hazy golden amber, 2" white head that settles to a long 1/4" , thin bands of lace. Taste is Taste starts with caramel malt that is quickly obliterated by solid pine and citrus hops. Thus moves cleanly through the palate until the end, when malt again pushes through for a satisfying lingering finish. An excellent brew, well-executed. Highly recommended.

Pours a fantastic golden orange. Aroma is citrus followed by a sweet clementine or passion fruit aroma. Taste is citrus up front followed by a dominating sweet clementine/passion fruit taste with a hint of warm malts. Palate is the same dancing around from pine and citrus to sweet fruits and a malt finish. What a great double IPA!

From a bottle to a shaker. Copper - gold with thin white head. Big hop aroma, grapefruit, dank pine Forrest. Notes of ripe pink grapefruit and spruce tips... Snappy bitter finish. A very good DIPA.
