Pours pitch black as it settles. Coffee aroma and taste. It is thinner than other stouts, but as such is very drinkable and refreshing. Very good low abv stout.

Pours black with a white head. Roasted malt, chocolate. Thin mouthfeel. Tasted a little watery.

Pours a deep brownish black on tap with thin off-white head and light lacing. Aroma of chocolate and sot taste is more soy, but still a touch of chocolatey lactose. Clean and dry, a little thin. Meh.

Tap. Deep brown with small head and light nitro carbonation. Very thin mouthfeel. Roasty, bordering on charred. Extremely odd stout.

perfect example of the style...this makes me want to sit and drink all day long...and due to the light ABV content that is very much a possible reality!

Draught @ Brickstore in Decatur. This is a really thin and burnt tasting stout. not recommended.

On draft at rustico Akexandria VA. Pours almost black with a creamy off white head. Chocolate aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Flavors of burnt coffee.

tap at Black Acre brewpub last fall - Nitro tap. Pours very dark brown with a tan head. It has a mild roast malt aroma. The dark roast malt flavor is on the watery side. It’s medium bodied and an okay beer, but far less than impressive. Victory can do better.

On nitro at the Brewers Pizza, one of the last before we jetted .. . pours a deep brown with a great creamy head, medium lacing .. . light mouth of course .. . some engine oil and burnt grain .. . boo! not that good .. . . i love the mothman prophecies!!!
