COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The tastiest dark brew since the rollicking days of the infamous Donnybrook Fair, Donnybrook Stout offers unparalleled refreshment for an ale so deep in flavor and intrigue. Fresh, whole flower British and Slovenian hops provide the proper, earthy hint of 'the auld sod' while deep roasted barley and low alcohol keep Donnybrook Stout clean, smooth and flavorful. Served on mixture of 75% nitro and 25% CO2.

Clear black pour with a big creamy light beige head. Aroma has a roasty nuttiness with a faint creaminess under all of it. Flavor is clean and light, featuring notes of roasty dark malts, a little nuttiness, a little smoke, and some peat. A Light and quaffable well-made stout.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 19.06.2013, tap @ The Ginger Man NY:
Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly roasted, dark malts, coffee, nuts, caramel, chocolate, grass. Taste is slightly watery, roasted grain, dark sugar, roasted nuts, coffee, chocolate, caramel. Little bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice one being this low ABV.

On tap at brewery. Pours a dark brown color with a thick layer of creamy and rich tan head. Smell is very light and has notes of mild caramel, cocoa, and some roasted coffee. The taste is quite nutty with a rich creaminess and subdued cocoa notes. Mouthful is very creamy and light bodied.

Served on draught T Red Cedar Grille. Served way too cold do no aroma. Black, opaque with small, off white head. Good lacing. Weak, watery stout with a coffee aftertaste. I have this on my favorites list, but if this were my only tasting, it wouldn't be there. Too bad restaurants don't get the proper temperature for serving thing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a blackish brown with a crisp white head (on nitro). Slight flavor of coffee but this beer is extremely thin. Pretty much watered down coffee.

On draft @ brewpub. Oooh, hey, I like this! Total food beer, canít imagine itís good for anything else but who cares. Itís hard being low-ABV these days, so itís good to know Victoryís pouring a best-possible-Guiness Lite to back up their (banginí) food.

Light thin body. Nice creamy dark malt taste. Pretty simple. Simpler flavor profile than a guiness. Drinks like water.
