COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The tastiest dark brew since the rollicking days of the infamous Donnybrook Fair, Donnybrook Stout offers unparalleled refreshment for an ale so deep in flavor and intrigue. Fresh, whole flower British and Slovenian hops provide the proper, earthy hint of 'the auld sod' while deep roasted barley and low alcohol keep Donnybrook Stout clean, smooth and flavorful. Served on mixture of 75% nitro and 25% CO2.

On tap at the Swannie House in Buffalo, NY. Nitro tap. Poured a deep brown/black with standard thick nitro head. Taste was really just kinda average, nothing really crazy about it....sweet chocolate and the like. Alright overall.

Draft at bloke n bird. Pours black with brown head. Guiness type aroma and taste. Couldnt distinguish between them a whole lot. Satisfying beer overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Solid Irish style stout. Jet black, creamy nitro head after the beautiful tumbling out-gassing. Dark roasted malt and some coffee. Nose pretty flat but not offensive.

Tap, Kooper's Tavern, Baltimore, MD. Appearance: like Guiness, dark ruby brown with very creamy cascading head. Aroma: light roasty chocolate malts. Taste: roasted malt water pretty much like Guiness with tad more flavor. Mouthfeel: thin but creamy, like a Guiness. Overall: have I said "like a Guiness"? That's pretty much it with a little bit more flavor at least than canned nitro (haven't rated a draft yet...). Just kind of boring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black with thin beige head. Sweet sugary aroma. Taste is mild chocolate and very clean and light. Benefits from warming. Crafted for all day drinking, it suits its purpose perfectly.

Serving:Draft at Magnolia’s. It pours a nice dark brown with an actively cascading light tan foam. The nose has lighter roasted notes with a touch of tang to it. The flavor is lighter than I was expecting with almost watery roasted notes, a touch of flint, and some soap. A light earthy bitterness lingers in the background. Light to medium body. Sort of Guinness like in that sense. Not bad, but nothing I would seek out again.

Sample at World Of Beer. Pours brownish-black with a medium tan head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted and a bit of chocolate. Light body with a sweet roast character and notes of chocolate malt and grain. The finish is short with a malt aftertaste. Pretty forgettable beer all in all.

On tap @ Oblivion Taproom. This dry stout wasn’t too dry, but had more hop dryness than I’d like in a stout. The finish was light and roasty with a hint of cocoa, but altogether very mellow.

Dark brown color, steady creamy beige head. Toasted aroma with tobacco and some citrusy notes. Light to medium-bodied. Flavor has toastyness and light earthy notes. Watery finish. Disappointment from Victory.

Nitro at Fountainhead. Pours a rich deep brown-black with a tan head. Nose is toasty and chocolatey malts. Some soft grassy hops. Really clean and nice. On tasting, great balance. Medium bodied with drying roast. Light coffee notes and a good hop bitterness. Again, clean and pretty refreshing. Great Dry Stout.
