Nitro pour, this very light nose. Light roasted malt and mild, mild sweetness. Mold graininess as well. Flavor is light, smooth, dry, roasted malt, smooth sweet finish. Not bad, but not an amazing dry stout.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nirtro draft at Khyber Pass. Pours black (actually a very, very dark red when held up to a bright light) with a tight foamy head that leaves some runny lace. Taste is clearly meant to mimic a Guinness. Smooth, due to the nitrogen, but not as full as the classic Irish dry stout. Some dry charcoal notes to combat the otherwise semi-sweet chocolate malt. Decent, but feels like the dark ghost of a better beer.

Tap. Nice smooth palate courtesy of the nitro. Thin body. Flavor of chocolate malts and rich dirt.

On tap at Khyber Pass Pub, Philadelphia. Dark black color. Creamy head. Little aroma and its not from being too chilled . Chocolaty malt, but weak flavor for the style.

Draft at Victory beer hall. Pours black , takes forever to settle, with a quarter inch of khaki foam. Faint roasted malt note on the nose. The roasted notes ate fairly prominent on the tongue. Wish the finish was dryer. Solid exame of style.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is nice and roasty with notes of chocolate. Flavor has some bakers chocolate and mild burnt notes...good roastiness. Mothfeel is medium and the finish is roasty/chocolatey.

This is a remarkably light stout, which surprised me. Hints of sweetness to it. Thick light colored head to t.
