3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a remarkably light stout, which surprised me. Hints of sweetness to it. Thick light colored head to t.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft @ Birdsall House, Peekskill, NY. Typical dry stout, not much different than a Guinness. Mostly a roasted flavor that pairs well with steak...on its own, this beer even has a dried meat note. Not bad.

2.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very nice appearance look you would expect from a stout but mild and without character. No aroma to speak of and none of the chocolate or coffee flavors that make this style special.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Roast, muted chocolate, smooth and sessionable. Much better once it warms a little.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nitro at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours a 2 layer 4 finger head. The dark tan bottom coalesces into a creamy tan beige top. Can almost write in it. Aroma is pretty much like Guinness with a bit more chocolate than G. Med minus body. Flavor mostly of dark malt - burnt, and a little ashy/gritty. A little dark chocolate liners into the finish. Which is a bit more bitter than sweet. With time chocolate seems stronger. Pretty nice take on a stout.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On nitro tap at Tap and Mallet. Dark black body with a large creamy tan head with a cascading effect due to the nitro. Roast and light chocolate aroma. Dry roast and light chocolate flavor. Light body with moderate carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Swannie House in Buffalo, NY. Nitro tap. Poured a deep brown/black with standard thick nitro head. Taste was really just kinda average, nothing really crazy about it....sweet chocolate and the like. Alright overall.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Solid Irish style stout. Jet black, creamy nitro head after the beautiful tumbling out-gassing. Dark roasted malt and some coffee. Nose pretty flat but not offensive.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap, Kooper's Tavern, Baltimore, MD. Appearance: like Guiness, dark ruby brown with very creamy cascading head. Aroma: light roasty chocolate malts. Taste: roasted malt water pretty much like Guiness with tad more flavor. Mouthfeel: thin but creamy, like a Guiness. Overall: have I said "like a Guiness"? That's pretty much it with a little bit more flavor at least than canned nitro (haven't rated a draft yet...). Just kind of boring.
