2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at Khyber Pass Pub, Philadelphia. Dark black color. Creamy head. Little aroma and its not from being too chilled . Chocolaty malt, but weak flavor for the style.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Rattle N Hum.
Black with a thick tan head that sticks around. Malt, smoke, roasty aroma, light chocolate note. Surprisingly light bodied, very smooth, dry with a very light bitterness. Very thin on the palate, easy drinking.
Not intensely flavorful or strong, but good for what it is, a low alcohol, refreshing stout.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
For what this beer is I liked it contrary to most other ratings here. aroma was rather one dimensional being really just roasted barley with a bit of coffee. apperence was black with a good tan head that had nitro present. flavor was all roasted barley with coffee notes, pretty dry and very easy drinking. I thought this would be a really good session pint that would go down well all day. palate was medium and much like stouts I sampled in england.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brewed in the USA..... On tap at the Brewery !!! Pours a very dark brown color with an awesome tan head. Aroma of chocolate and malts. Taste is of chocolate, roasted malts and a hint of coffee. The mouthfeel is super creamy with a slightly dry finish. This is the best example of Guinness that i’ve seen yet.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Draft at Victory...Frothy thick tan head...dark brown to black color....typical c02 separation (always a pleasure to watch)....1st pour from fresh keg.......metallic aromas and and aftertaste, not much else....so I give it back to the bartender and request another brew, he hands me a sample and and tastes it himself, sooooo 2nd pour....I get more of a milky coffee aroma, but still the same metallic taste and finish

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap. Deep brown with ruby highlights and a longlasting, one finger off-white head. Light aroma of something which i’m unable to discern. Reminds me of a shoe store, though. Taste is lightly fruity and some tobacco. Semi-dry finish. Light bitterness. Fairly light body. I’d take a guiness over this.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Swanky Bubbles in Voorhees, NJ and one of the most challenging beers I’ve reviewed - challenging because it looks amazing and goes down smoother than silk but it lacks flavor and aroma. There you have it - that’s my review (pretty much). Stunningly gorgeous with a wildly rich and creamy tan head. The texture of the head and the body of the beer grab you right away but there isn’t enough flavor to pull your attention away. Mild bittersweet chocolate and burnt coffee with a strong emphasis on *mild*. Very little carbonation in keeping with the style. If it had more flavor this donnybrook would have delivered a knockout but the appearance and texture alone warrant a few more rounds.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Its tough to make a good beer that is this light. Victory almost succeeds, but the ingredients just need to be doubled. A roasted and slightly chocolate malt flavor ends in a watery finish. To keep a good taste going, you have to drink it quickly. Overall, not a bad beer, but not worth the slightly extra expense.

2.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very nice appearance look you would expect from a stout but mild and without character. No aroma to speak of and none of the chocolate or coffee flavors that make this style special.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft @ Birdsall House, Peekskill, NY. Typical dry stout, not much different than a Guinness. Mostly a roasted flavor that pairs well with steak...on its own, this beer even has a dried meat note. Not bad.
