COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The tastiest dark brew since the rollicking days of the infamous Donnybrook Fair, Donnybrook Stout offers unparalleled refreshment for an ale so deep in flavor and intrigue. Fresh, whole flower British and Slovenian hops provide the proper, earthy hint of 'the auld sod' while deep roasted barley and low alcohol keep Donnybrook Stout clean, smooth and flavorful. Served on mixture of 75% nitro and 25% CO2.

Roast, muted chocolate, smooth and sessionable. Much better once it warms a little.

Pours black with small off-white head. Strong roasted malts flavor. No hops came through. Not bad with some decent flavors though nothing special.

Descent beer. Had on tap at the brewery. Nice creamy head. Roasted coffee, malt and just a small chocolate note. Finish was just a bit stronger with the hops then i like ths style to be. Definately a solid beer but not my favorite in the style. Tastes good but would not go out of my way to buy it.

Victory’s version of a Guinness. Pitch black, but the head is light. Just barely off-white. Creamy. Aroma is faint. General beer. Light barley malt. Very light taste. Drinks easy. Some chocolate and nuts, light toast. Creamy/milky. Like an unsalted top (rye) saltine.

Tap. Poured dark brown, medium light brown head. Aroma was lightly roasted malts, hint of hops. Coffee, roasted malt notes in the flavor. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Highly drinkable dark beer. A winner!

Had this on tap at the brewpub. I’d probably order this again if I were in for a long night, but didn’t want to leave "in the bag". Appearance is very dark brown, with thin tan head. Aroma is mostly of coffee, mild chocolate and hops. No hop bitterness present in the taste (too bad). A little too sweet, but mostly enjoyable.

excellent beer, comparable to guiness draught. Quite possably better than guiness.

On top at Victory. Wow, the appearence of this beer was amazing and it really went down smooth. I really enjoyed this beer. My only complaint would have been to see it have a little more taste. Overall I really enjoyed this and its to bad its only on tap as I have found any places near me that are not a 1 hour drive.

On tap at victory. A very solid dry stout, could drink it all day. Locally, i still prefer Sly Fox’s OReilleys in the style. This is about on par with Guinness, though maybe a little lighter bodied. Maybe they’ll invent a widget and bottle it.

Draught at the Lodge, Hilton Head Island. Great beer selection. Good stout. Tasty.
