2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sample at World Of Beer. Pours brownish-black with a medium tan head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted and a bit of chocolate. Light body with a sweet roast character and notes of chocolate malt and grain. The finish is short with a malt aftertaste. Pretty forgettable beer all in all.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On nitro tap. Pours with a near black body with a nice looking creamy to milky, tan nitro head. Aromas are bready, smokey, roasty with hints of coffee. Light floral hops. Flavors are watery, tobacco, nuts, tea, coffee grounds and leather. Somewhat more assertive mouthfeel than some nitro taps but still feels a bit watery.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Trappeze, Athens GA
Pours dark brown with thick mocha like nitro head
Aroma was rather weak and watery with some malts for a charcoal nose.
Taste, light, some roasted malts and thin touch of coffee with undertones of mocha with a lactose like palate.
Overall mouthfeel was fluffy and silky/creamy with good nitro presence. Victory’s version of Guinness? dry finish, simple, light, too watery for my taste but very drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Taster on tap at Twenty Tap. Black color. Thin khaki head, with good retention. Thicker lace. Good milk chocolate, lightly roasty, lightly dark fruity nose... Classic, clean irish stout aroma. Maybe a bit more earthy hop bitterness, than say, a Guinness. I like it, though. Lighter body. Smooth, kind of creamy, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Moderate sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. A solid dry irish stout. I let robotopera have the last 1/3 of my taster. He called it "overwhelmingly mild. Like there’s nothing there; like it’s cut." I guess he’s not used to dry irish stouts.
