Draught at Coles, Buffalo, NY. Looks great! Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with an average size lasting creamy tan head. Nice lacing. Mild aroma (but served quite cold) of dry roasted malt, coffee and light chocolate. Dry flavour of roasted malt and roasted coffee along with a hint of chocolate. Creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied. A simple yet solid Stout, easy to drink -- I quite enjoyed it.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nitro. Pours brune body with a tan head. Dry roasted malt, some light chocolate, very thin and session-able, a craft brewers spin on a common macro stout with more flavor despite the lower abv. Clean soft, with a creamy body courtesy of the nitro.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft pint at the brewpub. Exceptional cascade of a head on this nitro pour. The firm white head clings heartily as it recedes. Very light roasty aroma. Likewise in flavor, this is a restrained example ... lightly roasty, a hint of coffee-laced bitterness. Quite drinkable. (#3194, 11/10/2007)

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a dark brown color with a medium sized, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of nuts, roasted barley, and a bit of chocolate. Mouthfeel was thin, taste was bland. Light cocoa, roasted barley, some vanilla, with a strong dry finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nitro tap at bllind tiger. Pours a deep dark brow almost black, with a frothy traditional nitro deep beige head. Aroma is nutty, and chocolate with some light roast and moderate coffee hints. Flavor is a bit more bland with osme light coffee and cream hints, chocolate, hoppy herbal bitterness- kinda tea-like- northern brewer? Smooth mouthfeel and easy drinking despite a thin body. Pretty good dry stout overall.
