3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hands down one of the best Iíve ever had of this style. I tried 16 beers at Victory and this was the best of the lot. So smooth, with an amazingly full body despite low ABV. Incredible lacing. YUM!!!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
hazy amber, puffy large, large bubbled white head sinks fast to dormant volcano. Delicate, wood and resin ladened nose, lightly floral bouquet bursting forth from freshly sewed lawn. Flavor is more singular, soft carbonation appropriately allows for grass and tea, faint bread crust mid before rich, warm toast in finish. Awesome example, been so long since a low carbed esb graced my lips. Victory reminding all "trail-blazing" craft brewers again that brewing to style can be just as good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at the brewery
A: Pours a transparent copper color with a medium-sized white cap. Retention is decent
S: Soft pale malts give a light toasty note, hops give lots of earthy and spicy notes. Well balanced, and definitely English
T: The low carbonation + the cask makes this really English. Subtle hops and malts are nicely balanced. Hops are spicy, earthy, slightly citrusy. Malts are light, slightly bready, and balance well
MF/D: Carbonation is low, body is medium for the style. Finish is of spicy hops

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled on cask at Zenos in State College PA this beer poured a dark orange color with a small tan head that faded quickly and left good lacing. The aroma was faint with notes of orange and honey. The flavor was orange blossom, honey and caramel - somewhat bitter with light floral and fruity undertones. The finish was long honey, orange and caramel. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Mad Mex. I am a big fan of Victory and this beer is OK, but not great for type. Nice dark honey color, enough malt and hops but a bit off flavor, not the mouthfeel one expects with some musty notes

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: NOV 26, 2013 Orange red with a off white head. Aroma is of toasted malts, dark fruit, yeast, grassy hops, sweet malts, and caramel. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and. Semi dry, semi bitter finish. Overall, a tasty ESB.
