Commercial Description:
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

Attractive dark amber with a white head. Pretty neutral nose, very light grain and a faint hint of grass. Notes start with caramel, toasitness, bread - only a little malty sweentess, some grass/noble hop character. Full, round and creamy with perfect carbonation. If this had more aroma, malty sweetness and hop characater, it would be much better.

From Growler. Bought @ Victory Brewing. Pours nice golden copper color. Nice thick foamy white head, that nicely laced the glass half way down. Aroma is malty and sweet. Flavor is malty, with some caramel hints for sweetness, with a touch of grassy hop flavor comes through in the back. Slight spice taste. Nice balance. Could easily have a couple of these. Full bodied. Thick mouthfeel. Carbonation just right.

On tap at brewery. Copper color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is malty with a bit of honey. Flavor is woody and malty with a finish that reminds me of fish bait. Not quite as disgusting as that sounds but just average.

Clear copper/brown pour with minimal off-white head. Nice aroma of earthy malts, light caramel, and hops. Very spiced taste. A little fruity with a large floral character. Hops poke through a little in the end for an interesting balance.

botle. pours a sparkling copper color with an inch of beige foam on top. the nose is a mix of caramel, honey, and light fruits. nice balanced flavor. feels full and smooth on the way down. short bitter finish. a nice, but standard, interpretation of the Oktoberfest style.

cloudy amber color, slight tan head with a bit of lacing. nothing but air in the nose. spicey, peppery flavor, which finishes rather weak with a thin peppery after taste. a passable if much too mild oktoberfest style beer.

12 oz bottle. Poures no head, smells like mostly honey. Decent carbonation with a small presence of alcohol. Color is orage red. Kinda taste watered down. I wanted more from a victory
